Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
- From August 30 - September 5, schools and students took up a green challenge and discovered that their everyday action really counts for a sustainable future. 280,000 participated and over 780,000 students have participated since 2008.- Published over 220 new teaching resources that are all designed to educate Australian students about sustainability topics such as water, waste, biodiversity, climate change, consumption, energy etc.- Our resources are being used by over 36,000 teachers nationally- 54% of schools in Australia use Cool Australia- 5 webinars conducted educating over 3,000 educators- Over 1,193,000 page views- Over 414,550 users sessions on the site- 8 original videos produced around waste, water, biodiversity, energy, consumption, climate change, sustainability and Antartica.
