The third in a series of new videos by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Taskforce has been released on YouTube.

The video offers the Australian charity sector a chance to see the human face of Australia's first independent, national charity regulator.

In the video, Interim Commissioner Susan Pascoe AM talks about her childhood in a Lebanese-Scottish home, and outlines her personal aims as the head of the ACNC when it launches.

Assistant Commissioner David Locke explains why he left the UK to come and work for the ACNC, and Murray Baird – Assistant Commissioner, General Counsel – gives his view on how it will support the directors of Australian charities.

Two earlier videos were released over the past weeks to help prepare the sector for the introduction of the ACNC.

The ACNC Taskforce videos help to:

  • explain what to expect of the ACNC when its doors open
  • answer some of the common questions being asked
  • provide information on the work of the ACNC Taskforce.

The videos also showcase the new ACNC logo.
