The ACNC congratulates those in the charity and philanthropic sectors who were recognised in the Queen’s Birthday Honours over the long weekend.
A number of representatives of ACNC registered charities received an award, including:
- Roslyn Packer, director of The Packer Family Foundation
- Danny Almagor, a founder of Engineers Without Borders
- Anne Robinson, former board chair of World Vision Australia
Acting ACNC Commissioner David Locke welcomed the public recognition of the dedicated sector representatives.
“Our community is enriched by Australians who donate their time and energy to helping others,” Mr Locke said.
“The work of those honoured, along with the work of thousands of other Australians, is vital in building and sustaining a robust, vibrant, independent and innovative not-for-profit sector in Australia.
“On behalf of the ACNC, I would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude for your service.”
