Zephyr Education

Someone handing a pair of shoes to someone else
Zephyr Education began in 2013, when co-founder and President Isabella Bevan read a newspaper article about children living in domestic violence shelters. Those children often had to start at new schools with nothing – no uniform, no stationery, no school shoes.

Supported by free freight services, Zephyr has been able to expand throughout Queensland, into Tasmania and Western Australia.

“Zephyr is a much more sophisticated organisation now than when we first started,” says Isabella. “However, our goal of helping children affected by domestic violence get back to school as quickly and seamlessly as possible has not changed.”
