Summary of activities

Foster Care Angels provides a variety of support services to those involved in the Foster Care System. We provide Carer Conferences for foster carers that provide training, respite and peer support. We provide subsidised accommodation for those living foster care who are able to live independently. Our service also provides training and support to enhance the skills of the young people to ensure they are able to achieve their goals, live independently, maintain employment and go from surviving the thriving. We operate a web-based application to help disadvantaged young people develop their self-help skills in the areas of mental health and emotional well-being. The app provides e-books, live online workshops and many other resources to help young people develop skills in areas such as anxiety management, self-awareness, building resilience, creating goals, maintaining relationships and much more.
