Summary of activities
We provide financial support to the young families with their school fees and any sporting commitments. We hold monthly lunches at Legacy House for new widows to meet like minded ladies/widows. Laurel Clubs meet once a month and organise bus trips which would involve up to 45 ladies. Every 3 months the Public Trustee attends Legacy House to provide their service to our widows. During Covid -19 lockdown widows were contacted to help with arranging shopping and to make sure that they had everything they needed and if not they were advised on how to put things in place to reduce isolation.
