Summary of activities
Frontier Projects Incorporated is an Australian based charity that seeks to transform the lives of children vulnerable to poverty, suffering, trafficking or helplessness: through educational and family sponsorship, by restoring and empowering these families through community-initiated projects and vocational training, and by raising up leaders in our own communities and theirs, to BE change-agents, bringing restoration, hope and love.
We establish links and build relationships with local leaders in developing nations as well as our local community to work with them to enable sustainable change. Presently we work in Haiti, Thailand, New Britain and Australia. We are a community of volunteers that undertake these objectives regardless of race, culture or religious persuasion. We train and take teams of volunteers on journeys to these communities, where we put hands and feet to the privilege of serving others. We also undertake local projects to train socially responsible leaders to discover their calling and skills and then continue to work in their own communities. We function on a daily basis to plan, initiate, undertake and sustain various projects in partnership with NGOs in each respective nation. These projects include building and renovation, providing drinking water solutions, providing educational opportunities, training leaders and teachers and re- uniting children with their families, vocational training programs for single mothers and young adults, including sewing/clothes making and jewellery making.
