Summary of activities
During the year, ACL engaged a wide range of issues and ran a number of political campaigns. This included:
- Protecting religious freedoms
- Pro-life advocacy in relation to abortion and euthanasia policies in several states
- Anti-trafficking advocacy through engagement on prostitution law reform, especially in South Australia and Victoria
- Opposing policies which promote gender theory, and promoting parents' rights to raise their children in accordance with their moral and religious beliefs
- The damages of pornography and the sexualisation of women and children
- Engagement with reforms to surrogacy laws
- Advocacy around anti-discrimination law reforms, especially in Tasmania, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and federally
- Grassroots campaigns
