Summary of activities

The company's long-term objective is to advance Christianity by seeing Christian principles and ethics influencing the way Australia is governed, does business and relates as a community. In the short term ACL brings a Christian perspective to the public debates of the day as they arise in the media or in debate in State and Federal parliaments. During the year, ACL staff engaged a wide range of issues and ran a number of advocacy campaigns, which included: * Preserving the definition of marriage in public policy * Protecting religious freedoms * Pro-life policies that aim to stop extreme abortion and resist the implementation of euthanasia and assisted suicide
