Summary of activities
In light with our Mission Statement we aim to target and support communities and individuals in need that are marginalized and overlooked by many governments and aid organizations. We have identified an community of people namely Uyghur refugees, many of whom are currently residing in Turkey, who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and in need of support.
As part of our objectives to:
- End poverty in all its forms and provide lasting improvements to quality of life and livelihood.
- Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all, of all ages.
- Provide access to quality education as a foundation for creating a future that is secure, just, and free from poverty.
We have undertaken a number of projects to provide for and support Uyghur refugees, many of whom are orphans and widows. Our support has included distribution of food packages, providing rental assistance, clothing to children and orphans, medical aid and support services. We have networked with many community organisations and like minded organisations to target the most in need Uyghur refugees and provide much needed immediate emergency relief.
