Summary of activities

Provision of reproductive and sexual health information, prevention, screening and clinicalservices: 30,064 clinical services 3,248 STI tests 94 professional education courses with 1,383 participants, including 122 doctors, 166 nursesand 1,095 disability workers and teachers. 28% of clients under 25 years; 5% reported a disability: 474 clients with ATSI background and 3,475clients born overseas.Innovative health promotion programs and resources aimed at those vulnerable and/or sociallydisadvantaged including: Condom Credit Card, a youth specific scheme aimed at early intervention and capacity building.The Trending Sexual Health project is an innovative approach to reproductive and sexual health promotion as it focusses on a digital social marketing strategy to effect knowledge, attitudes and behaviours of young people across Australia. Outing Disability photography exhibition taking viewers on a journey into the lives of lesbian,gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex people with disability.FPNSW delivered 13 Parent Disability Forums across NSW to help parents and carers gain a clearer understanding of their childs sexuality and how to support hteir personal development in a positive way. Capacity building lesbian, gay, transgender intersex young people including implementing theSafe School Coalition program in NSW addressing homophobia, transphobia and heterosexism,and providing a safe and supportive school environmentInternational projects Family planning projects in Vanuatu: 4,991 direct beneficiaries Disability project in Fiji: 434 direct beneficiaries Cervical cancer prevention and treatment projects in Solomon Islands and Vanuatu: 3,885 directbeneficiaries Womens empowerment and gender equality projects in Timor Lester and PNG: 3,636 direct beneficiaries.
