Summary of activities

In 2017 Ovarian Cancer Australia relaunchedits new branding and tag line; Saving Lives; Supporting Women. Thisyear, we focused on improving our fundraising initiatives as well as continuing to strengthen partnerships with medical professionals; researchers and government. We also continued to improve our invaluable role of supporting women living with ovarian cancer across Australia; and thepeople that love them. Ovarian Cancer Australia began the process ofupdating the invaluable resource; our Resilience Kit. We also continuedto ensure we give women ways to both educated themselves and connect with others. We ran a series of webinars enabling women from all over Australia to take part from the comfort of their own homes; as well as online forums that are accessible 24 hours a day seven days a week. Our online forum is great way for women impacted by ovarian cancer, families and friends to connect with others going through a similar experience. The team is working together to help reduce the devastating impact of ovarian cancer on women and families and to take action on behalf of all the women living with the disease. As well as providing this support; our other strategic priorities includeensuring all Australians know ovarian cancer and that we drive change. Our 2025 vision is to reduce the incidence of the disease by 25% and improve the 5 year survival rate by 25%.
