Summary of activities

AIVL undertakes a broad range of health promotion and disease prevention activities and programs. The aims of the organisation is to prevent and reduce the transmission of blood borne viruses such as Hepatitis B and C, and HIV amongst people who inject illicit drugs and to ameliorate the negative impact of such conditions amongst those already infected.
