Summary of activities

The Dry July Foundation runs a national campaign called Dry July each year. The 2017 campaign was the 10th such campaign the foundation has run. Dry July is a peer to peer fundraising platform where participants seek to reach out to their families and friends to raise funds. The funds raised are then distributed by the Foundation to cancer services organisations to ease the impact of cancer treatment to those affected, their families and carers. The foundation has a strong governance process around determining which projects to fund and the effect they will deliver. Subsequently, the Foundation requires each recipient to undertake an acquittal process remitting reports to the Foundation confirming where the funds have been spent and the outcomes they have achieved from each funded project.
