Help with logging in

This page has instructions for:

  • signing up to the Charity Portal
  • getting a new password.

If you are having trouble logging in or you need help getting a new password, click on one of the two headings for simple step-by-step instructions.

If you have not previously logged in to the Charity Portal, you will need to sign up for a new account.

You can do this by following the steps below:

On the Charity Portal log-in page, click 'Sign up now'

Enter your email address, click on 'Send verification code'

This will send you an email that contains a 6-digit code. You use this code to verify your email address before continuing.

The email will be from 'Microsoft on behalf of ACNC' and its title will be 'ACNC account email verification code'.

Type in the verification code then click 'Verify code'

The verification code is only valid for a short amount of time. If you do not use it soon after receiving it, it will become invalid and you will have to request a new one.

Complete the remaining details and click 'Create'

You will need to put your password in twice to confirm it. The rules for the password will appear as you type yours in.

Use your email address and password to sign in to the Charity Portal.

To get a new password for your account, follow these steps:

On the Charity Portal log-in page, click 'Forgot your password?'

Type in your email address then click 'Send verification code'

NOTE: If you receive a message on this screen in red that says "An account could not be found for the provided user ID", it means your email address is not in our records. You will need to sign up as a new user with that email address.

Click continue then enter a new password

Once you have verified your email address with the code, you can continue.
