The ACNC sends reminders for overdue Annual Information Statements to a charity’s Address For Service – the email or physical address the charity has provided as its official point of contact.
For a number of charities we attempt to contact, these letters are returned unopened, or emails bounce back from the Address For Service. These charities may have changed their address and contact details or have closed, and have not notified us.
Despite repeated attempts, we have not been able to contact these charities to let them know that they have overdue Annual Information Statements.
All registered charities must:
- Submit an Annual Information Statement every year. This Statement is due within six months of the end of the charity's reporting period and is submitted online in the ACNC Charity Portal. Charities that fail to submit two or more Annual Information Statements risk having their charity registration revoked as a double defaulter.
- Notify the ACNC of changes to their Address For Service. Medium and large charities must do so within 28 days of any change and small charities within 60 days.
The charities listed in the Microsoft Excel file at the end of this page have failed to submit their overdue Annual Information Statements. Consequently, they have had their charity registrations revoked.
This is a public notice of the Assistant Commissioner's decision to revoke the registration of the listed charities effective 16 October 2025. In making this decision, the Assistant Commissioner has taken into account the matters in ss 35-10(2) and 15-10. In particular, I note:
- the persistent failure to submit Annual Information Statements
- the multiple failures to both submit Annual Information Statements and to update contact details
- the action the Commissioner has taken to attempt to contact each listed charity; and
- the importance of ensuring the public Register contains accurate and up-to-date information for transparency and accountability to the public.
The Assistant Commissioner is serving the notice to the listed charities in this way because we have not been able to contact them directly, despite attempting to do so.
Notice of Revocation of Charity Registration
The revocation of each listed charity’s registration is effective from 16 October 2025.
The registration of each listed charity has been revoked under section 35-10 of Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 (Cth) (the ACNC Act).
What this means
As the listed organisations are no longer registered charities, they are also no longer eligible for Commonwealth charity tax concessions, exemptions or benefits that they were entitled to receive from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
The ACNC will notify the ATO of the revocation of each listed charity’s registration.
Why each charity had its registration revoked
A registered charity must give the ACNC an information statement each year (Annual Information Statement). This is required under section 60-5 of the ACNC Act.
Each listed charity failed to submit two or more required Annual Information Statements to the ACNC.
The ACNC published a formal notice (Notice of Intention to Revoke) on its website on 17 September 2025 that explained the ACNC’s intention to revoke the registration of each listed charity.
The reasons for which I, as Assistant Commissioner, proposed to revoke the registration of each listed charity were detailed in the Notice of Intention to Revoke.
By 16 October 2025, each listed charity still had not submitted all the required Annual Information Statements.
What to do
If the charity wants to reinstate its registration, it must submit its overdue Annual Information Statements and apply for charity registration. For assistance with this, please contact us.
Alternatively, if the charity is dissatisfied with the revocation of its registration, it can object against the revocation by submitting an objection setting out the reasons it considers the decision to be wrong. See our guidance on reviewing ACNC decisions for more information.
