ACNC registers 204 new charities in July

In July 2018, the ACNC registered 204 new charities. Each charity is now listed on the ACNC website at acnc.gov.au/RecentlyRegistered.

The majority of newly registered charities are based in eastern states, with 77 per cent of new charities located in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

These charities will provide a range of invaluable services including animal welfare, education, cultural programs and more.

Members of the public can search the ACNC Charity Register to see if a charity is registered, and to find out what it does, where it operates, and who runs it. In addition, the Charity Register provides access to a charity’s annual and financial reports.
