An Address For Service is the primary address used by the ACNC to send charity correspondence. Charities need to provide us with an email and/or a physical address.

It is mandatory for charities to update us when their Address For Service changes, it is also the best way to ensure the charity gets critical information and reminders from us to help meet obligations.

Because we send important notifications to this address, it is recommended that charities use a generic email address, such as, rather than an individual’s email address. It is also recommended more than one person in your organisation can access the account.
