Issuing Directions is an enforcement power in the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 (Cth). The ACNC may send a charity a written direction which instructs them to do or not do something, if the charity fails to respond to the ACNC's regulatory advice on an issue.

This power is used to address non-compliance, and can only be exercised on 'federally regulated entities' - a definition of which is available in the ACNC's Compliance and Enforcement Commissioner's Statement.
