The ACNC welcomes the publication of the report from the ACNC Legislative Review, titled Strengthening for Purpose: Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Legislative Review 2018.

Treasury will be hosting face-to-face consultation sessions with interested parties to obtain feedback on the draft external conduct standards.

The Government has today released the draft regulations and explanatory statement for the proposed external conduct standards for registered charities.

In July 2018, the ACNC registered 204 new charities. The majority of newly registered charities are based in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
