For many charities that report to the ACNC on a standard financial year, the due date to submit the Annual Information Statement (AIS) is 31 January 2026.

Before you start preparing to submit your charity’s AIS, it’s essential to make sure you can access the ACNC Charity Portal.

How to sign up to the Charity Portal

Before you sign up:

  • Ask someone at your charity to add you as a Responsible or Authorised Person – listing your personal or unique email address when they add you.
  • Then go to the Charity Portal and sign up using your personal email address

How to sign in to the Charity Portal

Make sure:

  • You are listed as a Responsible Person or Authorised Person
  • Your name and email match the details recorded for you
  • You use your own log in – not a shared email.
