The ACNC is reaching out to charities that support vulnerable children overseas to provide them with useful resources that will help them manage risks and remind them of their obligations.  

The ACNC is seeking public comment on two updated Commissioner’s Interpretation Statements. We are currently reviewing the Commissioner’s Interpretation Statements on Public Benevolent Institutions Health Promotion Charities.

The ACNC Sector Forum comprises representatives of a range of charities and peak bodies that signify the sector’s diversity.

The head of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission the Hon Dr Gary Johns has announced he will step down from the role at the end of July.

Charities that failed to submit two or more Annual Information Statements have lost registration, and many are likely to have stopped operating.

Close to 750 charities across every state and Territory are at risk of losing registration because they have failed to submit two or more Annual Information Statements to the ACNC.
